Turning reviews into reputation: Growing Akinita Ouzounidis’ Google reviews from 230 to 480
When I rejoined Real Estate Akinita Ouzounidis in 2024, the agency had 230 Google reviews. Strong, but not enough to set us apart in a competitive real estate market. The main challenge? The agency had no customer database for automated emails or SMS follow-ups, which meant I couldn’t rely on digital-first tactics. I needed to find creative, low-tech ways to encourage satisfied clients to leave reviews.

I was tasked with improving the agency’s reputation and visibility through Google reviews while building trust with new customers.
Action
I designed a multi-touch, creative campaign:
Embedded a Google review widget on the website to showcase real customer testimonials.
Launched a social media series highlighting client reviews, inviting others to share their experiences.
Designed posters with QR codes, placed in the agency’s office, for instant access to the review page.
Created business cards with QR codes + NFC chips, allowing agents to collect reviews on the spot.
Results
Reviews grew from 230 → 483, all 5-star ratings.
Improved local SEO and boosted the agency’s credibility as the most trusted brand in the area.
Built a word-of-mouth loop: satisfied customers not only left reviews but encouraged referrals.
